Best Vintage Stores in Brooklyn

There’s no need to go beyond Brooklyn to find the best in classic pieces at some of the city’s most recommended and popular vintage stores.

Hop on the L Train and you'll find that the subway is packed with some of the most stylish women in the city. You may even spot a NYC passerby. Right before the train crosses the river, it would be no surprise that Williamsburg and Greenpoint are home to some of the most popular vintage stores in the city. Over in Greenpoint, meet the owner of Mirth Vintage, Lauren Moetell, who was also featured on Meet the Makers and has put together a collection of clothes catered to the New York shopper. Making its move from Australia, Awoke Vintage, also featured and recommended on Passerguides with owner Elizabeth Power, carries a carefully curated selection with several indie Brooklyn brands. There are many reasons why Brooklyn has become a popular destination for classic style, and below are eight of those reasons.
