Recommended by passersby like Sara Radin and Christina Coleman, Awoke Vintage has grown from its pop-up roots into one of Brooklyn's most popular vintage shops, with locations in Williamsburg and Greenpoint. We stopped by the original store in Williamsburg, where we met owner Elizabeth Power and browsed her colorful racks in search of new-to-us pieces to add to our wardrobes.
With one-of-a-kind bags artfully hanging from the walls and sleek, minimalist shelves displaying shoes, hats, and more, Awoke feels more like a carefully curated vintage gallery than an actual store. Bright, color-coordinated racks are filled with clothing sourced from vintage suppliers around the globe, making the selection feel truly unique. Do a lap around the shop's tables to check out jewelry, sunglasses, and other accessories that will almost certainly find their way home with you.
In addition to shopping for vintage pieces to add to your closet, you can also stop by Awoke to find items from small, indie brands like Floss Gloss, the cult-favorite nail polish line founded by passersby Janine Lee and Aretha Sack.
