Since its opening in early 2016, Syndicated has become the local haven for cinema lovers and Brooklyn natives—like passerby Jenna Wortham—to enjoy classic movies, craft cocktails and high-end bar snacks in the neighborhood’s first and only dine-in theater, bar and restaurant.
There is a lot to love about Syndicated. Everything from its Art Deco style interior to the expertly curated movie selection and its cinema-inspired cocktail menu makes clear that this place is a must-visit for anyone who loves movies.
The dine-in theater screens seven nights a week and features two to three films each evening in its intimate but spacious 60-seat theater. Programming spans from classics to new indies that are largely curated by managing partner, Tim Chung, a former film location scout.
The best part: movie tickets are some of the cheapest you’ll find in NYC, at $4 for classics and $7 for new runs. Not a risky investment for those on blind dates. Along with that, moviegoers can enjoy a utensil-free food menu and drinks from the comforts of their own seats.
Finally, the massive dining room boasts 20-foot vaulted ceilings, a 30-seat marble bar in the center of the room and two giant film projections typically playing cult classics, awards shows and sporting events for everyone’s viewing pleasure. All the more reason to pop on by and catch a flick while you sip down a "Grey Gardens" cocktail.
Visit Syndicated at 40 Bogart St, Brooklyn, NY, 11237.
